Description
OMEGA™ FPUCM800 Series sealless magnetic centrifugal pumps feature all non-metal wetted parts for compatibility with a wide variety of corrosives. Their sealless magnetic design insures against liquid leaks, and the use of powerful neodymium rare earth magnets provides long-life performance. Once liquid is in the pump, the FPUCM800 can survive without damage if accidentally operated dry for up to 30 minutes. The back pull-out design of the FPUCM800 makes it convenient to remove the motor without removing the pumphead from the flow line. Thus, the flow line need not be shut down to service the motor. The standard FPUCM800 pump includes an integral NEMA-56C motor which must be hardwired in the field. The FPUCM801/801-PV runs from single-phase 115 or 230 Vac; all others run from three-phase 230 or 460 Vac. The "-NM" option provides the pumphead without a motor, and includes all hardware required to mount these pump heads to NEMA-56C face motors. These pumps are not self-priming, so, for applications where fluid is not always present in the pump head, the use of check valves.
